Chapter 174.1 The Righteous and the Demonic Colluded Against the Demon Sovereign. (1/2)

Mo Sanshan kept Zi Bufan busy and made room for Zi Chongshan to act. The Demon Sovereign stood in midair; he was drugged by Mo Sanshan. He seemed to be detoxifying his body.

"Chen Tianyuan? Don't show any courtesy toward the demonic sect. Do it!" Zi Chongshan roared, then charged toward the poisoned Demon Sovereign with countless lightning bolts.

"Roar~~~~~~~~!"

The massive blood dragon controlled by Se Yutian soared into the sky and roared vehemently. The powerful sound waves clashed against Zi Chongshan's lightning bolts. Se Yutian was standing on top of the blood dragon's head showing a ferocious look. He bellowed, "Mighty Dragon!"

The massive crimson palms slammed toward Zi Chongshan.

Se Yutian and Zi Chongshan's Qi-palms clashed, generating a powerful shockwave.

"Chen Tianyuan, the Demon Sovereign is poisoned. Do it now! What are you waiting for? Now is the time to eliminate this evil!" Zi Chongshan urged anxiously.

Chen Tianyuan’s eyebrows were furrowed as he looked at the poisoned Demon Sovereign, as though unwilling to take advantage of the latter’s moment of weakness. But hesitation was dropped as he thought it was a war between their factions.

A vast ethereal sword was manifested out of thin air and descended from above. It looked like it divided the sky in half, and was about to destroy the Demon Sovereign the next moment.

The latter narrowed his eyes and pointed his finger forward.

A laser sword beamed out of his fingertip, which clashed with Chen Tianyuan's ethereal sword. The two forms of energy tussled against each other, generating a brilliant radiance that blinded all the onlookers.

"Oh, the righteous and upright Chen Tianyuan! You also like to take advantage of others' weaknesses nowadays, huh?" said the Demon Sovereign as he looked coldly at the righteous powerhouse.

Chen Tianyuan frowned a little. He replied, "I would love to have a fair fight with you! But this time around, Zi Chongshan and the others sacrificed countless disciples to eliminate evil and redeem the world. I don't want that sacrifice to be for naught! So, I'm sorry for offending you!"

Everyone looked toward that explosion in shock. Wang Ke sucked in a mouthful of cold air and said, "Damn... What happened? Se Yutian and Zi Chongshan were just putting on a show? Why did a righteous and a demonic cultivator join hands to sneak up on the Demon Sovereign?"

The Demon Sovereign vomited a mouthful of blood. A black energy shield barely blocked the brunt of Se Yutian and Zi Chongshan's sneak attacks. The energy shield shook violently and was starting to break and the injuries were severe, as he kept on spitting blood.

"Se Yutian? I gave you opportunities. How dare you work with the righteous faction to stab me in the back? You must be sick of living!" said the Demon Sovereign said, his voice filled with hatred.

"Se Yutian! You lied to me!" Zi Bufan roared, "You told me you were extracting the draconic leyline to deal with the Blood Temple! You actually used it to collude with the righteous faction and trick the Demon Sovereign? Se Yutian, I'm going to kill you!" Zi Bufan roared.

He completely ignored her as he continued to work with Zi Chongshan to crack the Demon Sovereign's energy shield. They were just about to succeed.

The demon leader was already vomiting blood; being pincered by Chen Tianyuan, Zi Chongshan, and Se Yutian left him in a fatal situation.

"Sorry about that, Demon Sovereign. You have corrupted the demonic sect! Our sect has already lost its bloodlust because of your meddling! You failed as a Sect Lord! So, you can't blame us for overthrowing you!" Se Yutian responded with a chilling voice.

The Demon Sovereign glared at Se Yutian with murderous eyes, but he couldn’t do anything to that traitor while dealing with a strong poison and being suppressed by three of the most powerful cultivators at the same time.

"Chen Tianyuan, use your Qi-sword! Quick, I know you still have some hidden techniques. Kill the Demon Sovereign, quick!" Zi Chongshan shouted at Chen Tianyuan. The latter looked ahead with a troubled expression, though. After taking a deep breath, Chen Tianyuan shook his head and shouted, "Sword, retract!"
