Author Note: Unfortunate News
Not an update in the story, but rather some information.
Sorry to get your hopes up. Rather, this is me coming in to inform you of some rather unfortunate news. Late last month, I got a biopsy for a lump on my head. It came back as melanoma. Yes, that I just beat my villains in story with super cancer is funny and it is okay to laugh about it. The irony is humorous. I'm currently being scheduled for a surgeon and more testing to see what stage I am at. I am not greatly in the mental space to be able to write, so I'm not going to update for a bit. In a few weeks I should have more information on how serious this is. It's possible that they just need to cut out a little more and I'll be gravy. But if I end up needing radiation or, God forbid, chemotherapy then the wait will be longer before I'm going to really be able to continue writing. We'll find out in the next two weeks or so. Thanks for all your support and I hope to continue writing in short order.
If I get more information, I'll delete this chapter and post a new one with more information, Or, more preferably, just replace it with a new chapter and an author note that I have a clean bill of health.
