Before the dawn broke, people in the Sparks tribes rolled out of bed to prepare for work.

Yesterday was the day they had the best sleep since coming here.

They lay on a shelf that was built using wooden sticks. The mosquito coils under the bed were set alight and gave off a pungent incense, and there was a fire nearby.

No more worries about getting bit by insects and ants. No more cold air coming off the ground seeping into their bones.

The ceiling was made of waterproof tarpaulin, which kept out both the rain and wind.

Covered by a thick, warm quilt, they never knew that there were plant-made products in the world that were just as warm as fur and even softer than fur.

They slept until dawn without worrying about being awakened by the cold in the middle of the night.

Plus the full meal they had yesterday. They got up early today, feeling energetic.

The most important thing was that they were no longer a group of outcasts who belonged no where, but a member of the Sparks tribe!

“Jiao, I am going to get some water. Where are the aluminum buckets?” Guang rushed to find Jiao, looking all round to look for the buckets.

The tribe specifically arranged people to take charge of the supply of water, and Guang was one of them.

Seeing the magical aluminum bucket yesterday, Guang thought he must get up early this morning to use the bucket to carry water.

Yang Yi taught them how to carry water. With only one wooden stick, you could carry two buckets of water!

Yesterday Guang tried to carry the buckets of water with a flat stick. In this way, he could carry two buckets of water without much physical strength. It was much easier than holding the bucket or having a water pot of stone on his head.

They often carried heavy objects on their shoulders, so they didn’t feel much pain or stress.

Jiao waved his hand. “You are too late. Someone is ahead of you.”

“Ah?! Someone came before me!” Guang was so upset that he thought to himself he would get up even earlier tomorrow morning.

The people in the Sparks tribe valued the aluminum bucket very much and hoped for a chance to get close contact with it.

The aluminum bucket not only made it convenient to carry water but also made a great cooking pot.

Guang tried using buckets to cook rice yesterday and it turned out they cooked much faster than the stone pots they normally used, saving a lot of time and firewood.

The firewood volume for one day could now be used for several days, which freed some manpower.

“We will collect wild fruits and vegetables later. It’d be grand if we could take the aluminum bucket along to fill more staff in it.” Yue who was in charge of collecting watched the bucket in a coveting way.

The hides were in small numbers, and there were not many fruits that could be wrapped in large leaves. Things would be very much different if they could use aluminum buckets.

Wild vegetables and wild fruits were very far away to get and they could go back and forth once a day. So how to transport these food was really a pain in the neck.

Jiao did not agree. “Aluminum buckets cost too much, and they need to be used to cook food and reserve water. I don’t think it’s a good idea to take them out of the tribe.”

Yue was a bit disappointed, but she kind of expected that.

So those buckets were simply too precious to be taken away like that, and they even had guards at night watching them.

“You don’t know how to make baskets?” Yang Yi overheard their conversation and came over.

“Oracle.” Yue looked at Yang Yi, her eyes full of admiration.

He was not a god, but he possessed the things and wisdom that existed in the world of Gods. He was like the messenger of God.

Yang Yi did not reject this title. After all, he was different from these people. It was not odd for him to own a special title.

“What is a basket?”

Yang Yi asked her to find some rattan the same size as her little finger, and then made a basket out of them.

He grew up in a village in the city. His family owned a building, and later, the building was made into an eight-floor one. It was designed for rental.

When he was a child, there was a tenant who specialized in making bamboo stuff with great craftsmanship. At the beginning, it was a common bamboo utensil and later switched to bamboo artworks.

Yang Yi watched him weave a variety of supplies and utensils at a young age. He occasionally got his hands on the bamboo and played with it, so making a rough basket out of rattans was not that difficult for him.

“This can hold a lot of things! You can carry it on your back while picking and walking! If you have two rattan baskets, you can still carry them like you carry buckets filled with water. This means one person could load more things!”

Yue carried the rattan basket on her back, simulating the movement of picking with the basket on her back. Whoever was watching wore glistening eyes.

“Oracle, can I try to make one myself?”

It was not difficult to make a rattan basket. Yue got the hang of it after watching how it got done for a while. She never thought about making a rattan basket because she had never seen it before.

“That’ll be great. You can try to weave one by yourselves. If you run into trouble, come over here and ask me. Hope everyone could have one rattan basket before setting out.”

Yang Yi had no plans to do it all on his own, so he was very happy to hear this proposal.

“If you don’t have time today, leave it to the elderly or those whose hands are not injured. By tomorrow, we will have enough rattan baskets.”

There were too few containers in the tribe, and more baskets would always be put into use for the days to come and also gave those who had trouble going out something to do.

Everyone cheered happily and quickly went to find rattan.

Before the departure, everyone ate delicious food. Everyone was looking forward to what they were going to harvest today.

Now the collecting team had a new container while everyone in the hunting team was also equipped with weapons–steel spear.

Usually, the collecting team would have two soldiers to keep them safe. There were also two in the campsite and three in the hunting team.

The hunting team only had four ordinary people each time. In the absence of suitable weapons, too many people could easily become a burden.

Today, the number of ordinary people increased to ten because their stone spears were replaced with steel spears.

After giving its first cutting, it was nothing short of the Blackstone weapon!

With powerful weapons, the fighting power of ordinary people was greatly improved and could be qualified to become a member of the hunting team.

Kun and another ordinary person named Teng took the military shovel as a weapon. It was convenient to make a trail in the woods.

Their team was more powerful than before and they could go hunting in places they didn’t dare to go before.

The two teams left valiantly and spiritedly, everyone’s eyes sparkling with excitement.
